I've read a lot of books over the years on all kinds of subjects about photography. I always have something I'm reading or a DVD I'm watching. I need information coming in at all times. (My brain never shuts off) If you look at the time it's now almost midnight and here I sit, brain buzzing like a weed eater!
I heard about this guy Scott Kelby. He's the one who has Photoshop User TV. He is also the head of National Association of Photoshop Professionals. He had some best selling books on Digital Photography so I bought Book 1 (usually you should if you're going to buy a series) . This is the first book I ever read on photography that my head wasn't jerking back because I kept dozing off. I laughed through the whole thing. So much so, that I had to re-read most of it because I couldn't remember what I read half the time. (Due to what I'm sure is a brain disorder, a blonde moment, etc.) Start with this book - or buy the series (you'll save some money) You won't be sorry because Scott talks to you like you are standing there having a conversation. I can just imagine his jolly laugh while he's cracking the many, many jokes he has all through the books. AND BY THE WAY! You better read the intro (also pretty funny) because you'll miss the free stuff he gives away in some links he shares with you. Here you go.
